After a traumatic event during the residence, a young medical student James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) takes to a rural hospital for a new start. Observing that James is struggling and difficult to contact patients, Dr. Harrison (veteran stage and veteran actor Michael Potts) recommends to take a class on the bedding and facilitate deeper relationships with the patients. The demons of James’ past begins to catch up with him when a young asthmatic patient (Sidney Fananigan, sometimes always rarely) consumes with mysterious symptoms. Taking reality begins to slide when its disturbing nightmares, speculations and physical injuries caused by anxiety collide with the hard realities of the world of medicine. Director Alex Thompson collects a strong combination of strong veteran character actors in the eyesight of Saint Frances and Ghostlight’s precursor and non-unusual genre.
